Our take
HeyGF is web-only, with a large roster of ready-made characters (141 on its Explore page), a builder that asks for a lot of detail, and a coin system behind the pictures, video and calls. Plans start at $9.99 a month, or about $8.33 a month paid yearly, and chat is unlimited once you pay.
Two things to check first. The pricing page says every plan includes unlimited photos and videos, but coins limit those, and the site's own blog says so. And there's very little outside feedback to read yet, so the billing record is still an open question.
Pick it if: you want a big cast to choose from, or a builder you can really shape, and you mostly chat with the odd picture.
Skip it if: you want an app from the store, or one flat price that covers pictures, video and calls. Nomi AI includes voice calls in its paid plan and has apps for iPhone and Android.

On this page
HeyGF is an AI girlfriend that lives in your browser. There's a long list of ready-made characters to choose from, each with a photo, an age, a country, a job and a backstory, and a builder if you'd rather write your own. On October 12, 2026 I went through the HeyGF pricing page, About page, terms, privacy policy and blog, and here's how it adds up.

What HeyGF is
Y2A LLC, a company with a Dover, Delaware address, is behind it. HeyGF is web only: I couldn't find an iPhone or Android app, and the site itself pitches it as browser-only. The Explore page listed 141 characters when I counted, most in their twenties, with some in their thirties, forties and beyond. Sienna Vale, listed as a 28-year-old stylist from Manchester, is a fair sample, with a quick wit, a love of pub quizzes and a habit of ranking late-night chips.
It's an adult service. Explicit chat and pictures come with the paid plans, and you confirm you're 18 or older with a tick-box when you arrive.
Is HeyGF free?
There's a free tier, but it's mostly text. Without an account you can send five messages a day. Sign in with a free one and the limit rises to thirty. Neither step asks for a card. Pictures, video, voice notes and calls are all paid in coins, and the only free taste is a welcome gift of three, which pays for a single picture. Use it to find out whether you like how a character writes.
HeyGF pricing
| Plan | Price | Billed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casual | $9.99 a month | or $99.99 a year (about $8.33 a month) | 150 coins a month, 1,800 on the yearly plan |
| Closer | $19.99 a month | or $189.99 a year (about $15.83 a month) | 350 coins a month, 4,200 on the yearly plan |
| Exclusive | $39.99 a month | or $349.99 a year (about $29.17 a month) | 800 coins a month, 9,600 on the yearly plan |
| Coin packs | From $5.99 | one-off | 40 coins for $5.99; bigger packs cost less per coin; pack coins don't expire |
The plans differ mainly in coins. Chat is unlimited on all three, and the monthly coin allowance is what you're really buying: 150, 350 or 800 of them to spend on the extras. HeyGF posts its own price list, and it's short. Pictures are 3 coins each, voice notes 10, videos 25, and a live call runs 1 a minute. At those rates the 150 coins on Casual stretch to about 50 pictures or six videos a month. Paying yearly lowers the monthly cost, and only the yearly plans open up a character's full photo gallery.
Read the pricing page headline with care. It promises unlimited chat, photos, videos and audio on every plan, yet the About page and the blog both say coins pay for the media, and unlimited is the chat. The "Save 64%" badge on yearly Exclusive compares against a struck-through figure nobody pays. Set it next to twelve months of the monthly plan and the saving is nearer 27%. Coins that come with a plan expire when the billing period ends, and coins from a pack don't. Bought in packs, a coin costs roughly 15 cents at the small end and 5 at the big end.

The builder is where I'd start. You pick her look from picture cards, decide whether she's a girlfriend, a friend or something looser, and then fill in the basics: name, an age of 18 or over, country, hobbies, tags and a voice. After that come free-text fields for her job, a description and her ground rules. Only the ground rules can be changed later, in the chat settings, so settle the other two before you pay the 20 coins it costs to save her.
Video is the newest part. The top video model runs to 15 seconds and adds sound, and the site claims video prices have fallen by up to 30%, which means the 25-coin figure could be out of date. Live calls are advertised as new too, although an older page on the site still says it sticks to voice messages. I'd check the price on screen before paying for either.
Is HeyGF safe?
The operator is named in the terms and the privacy policy. You cancel in Settings, and access carries on until the paid period ends. Card payments go through CentroBill, and the charge appears on your statement as heygf.ai. On refunds, the terms rule out money back for part-used periods and for coin packs, and billing errors are judged one at a time.
On privacy, the home page promises "100% Anonymous", while the policy lets HeyGF pass identifiers like your email and account ID to ad partners, Meta and Google among them. The only age check I could see is a tick-box. I looked for a Trustpilot page and for Reddit threads and found neither, so outside feedback on billing is thin. Before paying, put the renewal date in your calendar, glance at the statement once the first charge lands, and keep any coin top-ups modest.
HeyGF alternatives
If you'd like calls and pictures inside one price, Nomi AI includes voice calls in its paid plan. Candy AI works on the same coin idea, with a monthly token allowance in every paid plan and a 12-month deal at $3.99 a month. OurDream AI also runs on coins, 1,000 a month on its Premium plan.

My verdict
HeyGF is worth a look if the roster or the builder appeals to you. Try the free tier first and see whether you like how the characters write. After that, ask how you'd really use it. If it's mostly talking, Casual is plenty. If you'll want pictures or video most weeks, run the numbers on Closer or Exclusive first and keep an eye on the coin count. The unlimited wording and the thin record of outside reviews are the two things I'd weigh before paying.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Is HeyGF free?
Partly. A visitor without an account gets 5 messages a day; a free account gets 30. Neither needs a card. Anything beyond text, meaning pictures, video, voice notes and calls, runs on coins.
How much does HeyGF cost?
There are three plans: $9.99, $19.99 or $39.99 a month for Casual, Closer and Exclusive. Pay for a year up front and it's $99.99, $189.99 or $349.99. Chat is unlimited on all of them, and the coin allowance is 150, 350 or 800 a month. Extra coin packs start at $5.99.
Does HeyGF have an app?
Not that I could find. It runs in any browser, on a phone or desktop, and the site says there's nothing to install.
Is HeyGF legit?
It's run by Y2A LLC, a company with a Dover, Delaware address, and it has published terms and a named payment processor. No people are named, and I couldn't find outside reviews on Trustpilot or Reddit, so check your statement after the first charge.
How do I cancel HeyGF?
Go to Settings and cancel there. You keep access until the paid period runs out. Part-used periods aren't refunded, and coin packs are final.
