Candy says it remembers what matters but doesn't explain how in the same detail. If you run one long storyline for weeks, OurDream keeps it tidier.

Who runs them, privacy and refunds

Candy AI belongs to EverAI Limited in Malta, so EU data protection law applies, and charges show as EverAI. OurDream AI is run by Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its privacy policy describes encryption of data at rest and in transit. Both say they can use your data to train their AI, Candy after de-identifying it.

Refunds are tight on both. Candy refunds only within 24 hours of paying and if 20 tokens or fewer have been used. OurDream looks at refunds within 14 days for a service that's faulty or not as described, at its discretion, and crypto payments are final. Both describe a 14-day right of withdrawal for EU and UK customers, with conditions.

For most people, Candy AI: it's cheaper, it does pictures, voice and video in one plan, and it's my top pick overall.
